The collection draws profound inspiration from the distinctive topography of the Gallura region in the northern part of Sardinia. Characterized by its monumental, wind-sculpted granite rocks set against the Mediterranean, this natural scenery is reinterpreted through the artistic lens of Piero Angelo Orecchioni‘s “Familiar Landscape” ink-on-paper works. The fluid, overlapping organic shapes and delicate tonal shifts found in these artistic studies form the foundational geometry for the collection’s interlocking designs.
