La Récréation
La Récréation is an art, design, graphics, and planning studio and atelier. It is a project by Piero Angelo Orecchioni and Jonathan Rosenfeld. La Récréation is intended as a rebirth of the importance of play, curiosity, and the urgency to take changes and necessary recreation into account. This is why our works deal with various scales and fields, from art objects to architectural projects. Our contemporary projects look to a vivid present and near future to find traces of a recent or distant past. Through constant artistic research, we aim to restore renewed life to memory.

Piero Angelo Orecchioni
Architect, designer, artist. Born in Luogosanto (SS), he graduated in architecture in Florence, where he currently lives and works. He immediately received numerous awards and recognitions for national and international competitions in the field of design and architecture. In 1998, he co-founded Studio63 a+d, an international architecture and design brand specializing in retail concept design, interior design, product design, art direction, and design consulting for furniture and fashion companies. In 2015, he founded La Récréation, a design and applied art studio, together with Jonathan Rosenfeld. Since 2017, he has been a professor of interior design at IED Florence and collaborates with the University of Architecture in Florence, teaching in first-level master’s degree programs in design.

Jonathan Rosenfeld
Designer: interior, product\furniture, and graphics. Born in Israel in 1976, he moved to Italy in 2000 to continue his studies in architecture. Since 2005, he has collaborated with various architecture and engineering firms on diverse projects, offering consultancy in 3D modeling and rendering. At the same time, he also runs his own graphic design business in the field of publishing and web design. In 2015, he founded La Récréation with architect Piero Angelo Orecchioni, which deals with the creation of retail concepts, interior design, and furniture design. Since 2018, he has been a professor of interior design at IED Florence.
